The secret power to martial arts marketing that no one talks about

The key to success isn't what is being taught at all - AT ALL.

It's way bigger than that and it's also invisible.
And most of these people out there, just don't have it.
 
It's not a script it's not some formula, it's not any of those things.
While those things are ALL very important to a degree.
It's the one single thing that all of these gurus just have not mastered and they teach you over and over all the bad stuff that doesn't work because that's all they got in their wheelhouse.
Literally, the most powerful instrument you can possibly have in business is the 2 things that look like seashells hanging off your head.
Your ears.
Not enough people LISTEN.
I don't mean listen to talk, or listen to converse, or listen to have an opinion.
Like truly see and listen to your customers.
I recently talked to someone who was hell-bent (he's my boy too no disrespect much love) on "telling their story"... Because I bet someone in a way different scenario told them to do this.
And this is what happens you don't know better and go - shiz I really need a documentary.
No.

No, you don't.
A documentary is great when you have done incredible things - but most documentaries are self-aggrandizing.
It's YOUR story and it's NOT attracting any customers. As much as you think your story is powerful and I bet it is. It's not selling customers.
This idea people BUY off your culture is FALLACY.

People do not buy your culture. READ THAT AGAIN.
PEOPLE DO NOT BUY YOUR CULTURE....
They STAY because of your culture. HUGE difference.
But that's not what they are buying at all.
They are buying a piece of you that tells them the story on how THEIR STORY gets better.

It has LITTLE to actually do with you. It has everything to do with them.
What's being taught today is tricks. They disguise this stuff as "strategy" but it's all bullshit really.
And unfortunately, a lot of you will listen. Do this, say that, do it like this, don't do it like that, all of it is rubbish.
I've not seen too many highly successful people in multiple industries here.
Why?
Because most have not to test bedded their ideas across different industries. Simply because most are not true professionals in this realm. Sucks to say but most of them are hacks and not very good at all at what they do.
They may be good, and smart at some things, they may have enough marketing knowledge to be dangerous enough to hurt you and them (haha) and they may just have enough photoshop skills to make a 1990 looking social media flyer and tell you it's the best thing since sliced bread.

But none of that stuff is going to pull you out of the pit of despair when you are waiting for re-occurs to pay the bills.
Which is painful to watch because it's wrong and because it hurts you.
Plus stressed out that you have to pile on 1 more thing again to the unrelenting mix of things you already have to do on a daily basis.
I've done this now in 3 industries. Fitness, Martial arts, and entertainment. It works every time.
All the time. Even on the weekends.
Here is the reason why:
People don't study people enough.

If you want to be great at selling study the people you sell to. NOT the tactics other marketers are using which are usually rehashed and lame.
Lots of service providers only study people in proximity to how those people can help their OWN lives. Similar to the way your customers think.

They think how can I extract from my audience, instead of giving and filling them up they look to extract profit and time. If you have a program that works like amazing you should have hundreds of people talking about it, not 1 or 2 lifers.
So you kinda guess what you are doing.
Instead of knowing what will hotbed.
Most people are focused on themselves.
But to be a great leader you need to unlearn how to focus on you and to focus on others.
The key to really connecting (this comes straight from Music and Movies) is knowing your audience and speaking their language.
When you can know the language of your audience because you spent a lot of time studying them - you can speak to them better than they even understand.
More so - becoming your audience.
You speak the expert language, customers don't know or care about your language they have their OWN language, to which it's your duty as a business owner to figure out. Master. And understand but more so - TRULY empathize with.
This makes you magnetic.
It gives you charisma, it gives you that special sauce that most people will try to replicate you in one-way shape or form but just can't.
